Applicants are required, unless otherwise noted, to pay a $55.00 non-refundable application fee to authorize a background check and additional qualification processes. All Applicants are required to furnish valid identification. Non-US citizens applying to a home may be required to present information acknowledging the individual’s right to live in the United States through the duration of the lease term.
Properties may not be held off the market in excess of ten (10) days without additional the approval of a FirstKey Homes representative.
Upon Applicant approval, Leases are required to be signed within 24 hours of generation. In the event Lease is not signed within the 24-hour time period FirstKey Homes may elect to cancel the application and place the home back on the market.
The full security deposit must be paid within 24 hours of signing the lease agreement. The final move-in balance is required no later than 48 hours before the lease start date. Payments can be made via bank account/ACH, debit card, or credit card (subject to applicable fees), in our local office via check or money order, or the Payment Center by phone at 844.785.4078. If funds are not received within 48 hours of lease signing, FirstKey Homes may elect to cancel the lease and place the home back on the market.
